San Jacinto Showcase

So this semester I participated in a project between Amarillo College and San Jacinto. We took a group of kids in an after school program and did a career day with them. We gathered donations and took several supplies with us to photograph the kids in different professional attire. Here are a few pictures and a short clip of the showcase held at Amarillo College's Library.

Couldn't Put my Camera Down

So after the workshop I just couldn't put my camera down and I had this itch to shoot and test my lighting skills out. With Brad and Frank assisting me I came up with these shots. Using a single strobe and an umbrella and a green gel in some I was able to create a pretty cool effect. I hope you enjoy!

Last week I had the honor of taking a lighting workshop from Diego Huerta. Diego and Dany ventured all the way here from Austin, TX to share with us his experience in becoming a photographer and some of his journey getting where he is today. I can definitely say that he inspired me to become something greater for every client that I encounter. I am thankful that there are photographers out there like Diego that take time out of their hectic schedules to teach and most of all inspire others. Here are a few pictures from the workshop. Enjoy!

Shooting with Shalena

So the other day I had the opportunity to shoot with Shalena and I think we had pretty good session together. I had the pleasure of meeting her fiance and I'm glad he showed up to see how I work. Here are a few pictures from our shoot the other day.
